Politically Active Republicans To Host Candidate Forum
Monday April 25, 2011
6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
On Monday, April 25, the candidates for the Burleson City Council and School Board will attend a community forum at the Burleson High School Cafeteria, 100 Elk Dr. in Burleson.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the forum beginning at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. Each candidate will speak for a few minutes and respond to written questions from the audience.
The forum is being hosted by the Politically Active Republicans organization and assisted by Texas Patriots Tea Party.
We are headed into a New Year and YES! a NEW Election Cycle!
PAR is planning on attending as many community events as possible this year to help get the word out on who we are and what we are doing. Opening our organization to the Johnson County communities creates opportunities for citizens to become actively involved.
Promotional and information items are primary to achieving our goals and are listed below.
1. A window sticker that will display the PAR logo.
2. A small bumper sticker displaying the PAR logo.
3. A tri-fold brochure stating who we are and what we are about.
The stickers are not all that expensive; however, the brochures will cost more as we will need to order them in bulk to get a good price. Estimating the needs, total cost would be around $1,100 for all three items.
The stickers will be sold as donations and the funds generated will be used to purchase replacements. The brochures will be used as an information hand-out at no charge.
A donation of $25 or more and we will send you a bumper and window sticker when we get them.
Thanks For your SUPPORT!
